weda 0.1.0

Camera trap app updates from user feedback (#37), plus #12 and #23.

Data upload

  • Step 8 data quality checks run when clicked (previously often only after downloading a CSV), with a progress bar
  • Step 8 shows a pass/fail summary per table and only the checks needing attention (“Show all checks” for the full reports); every check has a plain-language brief and pointblank’s per-step log is no longer printed
  • Clearer column errors that name the table and say what to add, remove or rename
  • Project names are checked against existing projects on the database (short and full name must match)
  • Step 9 checks the database is reachable, reports which tables uploaded if it fails, and only uploads the remaining tables on retry; brief disconnects no longer reset the app
  • Production/development upload toggle at Step 9 (production by default); uploads now refresh views in the selected schema
  • TimeRetrieve and metadata_Multiples can be left blank; non-integer multiples (e.g. “3+”) are flagged
  • “Greater Glider” and “Feathertail Glider” tags map to Southern Greater Glider and Acrobates spp. (VBA 903793)
  • More guidance in the step help (record formatting, blanks vs NA, NIL tags) and a larger Step 7 map

Project map

  • DistanceSampling, AllSpeciesTagged and DistanceForAllSpecies filters now work; date filters use camera deploy/retrieve dates
  • Colour by presence of one or more species (present if any detected), with much faster loading
  • Collapsible project legend

Other

  • mirror_schema_structure() creates the views and functions of one schema (e.g. camtrap) in another (e.g. camtrap_dev) without copying data
